Batmail

Simple, per inbox

Pricing

Batmail is priced per inbox: free on one, then a flat rate for every inbox the night shift covers. No card until you pick a paid plan. If those inboxes are for sending rather than reading, you want a different product; Emailchaser, from the same studio, is a cold email platform.

Questions

Pricing questions

The money answers, in plain English, before you connect anything.

Am I being charged anything today?

Only if you choose Night Shift. Signing up, connecting your first inbox, and staying on Scout cost nothing and never ask for a card. Choosing Night Shift sends you to Stripe, and that subscription charges the card you enter straight away: there is no trial and no grace period. Nothing else in the product can start a charge.

What counts as a triaged email?

Any email Batmail reads and makes a decision about: whether a rule acted on it, a label was applied, or it was sorted into your roundup. Mail you send yourself does not count. Triage volume is not metered against you today, on either plan.

What happens when I hit the Scout limit?

Scout covers one connected inbox, and that limit is real. Connecting a second one is refused with a prompt to upgrade or disconnect the first, and if an account somehow ends up over its allowance the nightly patrol works the oldest inbox and skips the rest until you resolve it. Nothing is deleted or disconnected on your behalf.

How does the Night Shift overage work?

Night Shift is $12 per inbox per month and includes a published fair-use line of 1,000 triaged emails per inbox per month, then $2 per additional 500. That overage is not metered or billed automatically today, so passing the line does not charge you anything by itself. If it ever starts to, we will tell you before it does.

Can I change plans or cancel?

Yes, and subscriptions are real, so this matters. Manage billing on the Billing page opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can change or cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge and your data stays until you delete it.
