The plan we intend to launch is a per-inbox base with an included triage volume: 1,000 triaged emails per month on each Night Shift and Colony inbox, then $2 per additional 500, metered per inbox. Scout would pause at 25 emails a day instead of charging.
None of that runs today. Nothing counts your emails against a quota, nothing pauses, and nothing is invoiced.

Am I being charged anything today?
No. Batmail is in early access: there is no card on file, no billing system, and no plan limit enforced anywhere in the product. Every early access account gets the full night shift on every inbox it connects, including the emailed morning roundup. The prices above are what we intend to launch with, and we will email you before any charging starts.
What counts as a triaged email?
Any email Batmail reads and makes a decision about: whether a rule acted on it, a label was applied, or it was sorted into your roundup. Mail you send yourself does not count. Nothing is metered against you while limits are unenforced.
What will happen when I hit the Scout limit?
Once limits are switched on, Scout will pause triage after 25 triaged emails in a day and tell you in the roundup how much it skipped; untriaged mail simply stays in your inbox as usual. Today nothing pauses.
How will the Night Shift overage work?
The plan we intend to launch includes 1,000 triaged emails per inbox per month, then $2 per additional 500, metered per inbox. None of that is billed or counted today.
Can I change plans or cancel?
There is nothing to cancel yet: no subscription exists. When billing starts you will be able to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time, and your data stays until you delete it.
